Dog Portraits / Photography in Bournemouth & Dorset
Back in 2011, I was asked to do a Dog Portrait Session for Lisa. Originally Lisa use to live in Bournemouth, but moved to Brighton a few years back . Her sister bought her a voucher as a christmas gift, the previous year so she could have a beautiful portrait keepsake of her much loved pooch, Millie the Beagle.
So the weather was a bit unpredictable, but we decided to just go for it. Lisa came up from Brighton on the Sunday for the Shoot. The location I had decided to use for this particular shoot was Branksome Beach.
The shoot took careful planning, and was arranged atleast 6 months ahead.
I had used this particular location once before, for some Wedding Portraits, so thought it to be quite ideal.
Below are a few shots taken from this shoot.
Lisa was chuffed with the results and purchased a 16x14 canvas for her wall.
We chanced the weather on the sunday, and we got some cracking results, using the beautiful pastel tones of the Beach Huts, as our backdrops.
Millie, was a behaved Dog, and once she got into a few practice poses, she was quite happy to sit & pose for us.
In all, we probably spent about 30 mins doing Beach Hut Shots, and approx 15 mins on the Beach.
The weather held out nicely for us, as it usually does for my shoot's and I can almost guarantee, lovely clouds, sunsets, or just a lovely warm atmosphere to the images.
To be perfectly honest, it's lovely doing Beach shots, not only do the Dog's get to unwind & relax, but the owners do too. So this makes its a lovely pleasurable time for everyone involved.

★ Golden Retriever Photo Shoot at Hengistbury Head ★

Hengistbury Head situated along the South Coast, a few miles from Bournemouth Town Centre & Pier, is one of the most ideallyic places for Location & Pet Photography.
I have used this wonderful secluded location, for model shoots, and
pet photography shoots. With it's own natural sand dunes upon the edge
of the cliff top, this location is absoutlely ideal for private shoots.
A trip to Hengistbury yesterday, resulted in producing some amazing dog portraits for a friend of mine.

I am quite often asked to provide artistic pieces for local clients......
And its been known for clients to travel quite a fair distance for these unique one off pieces.
